In the same area is the Alexander Nevsky
Cathedral, a 19th century Russian-Orthodox building into which we
were able to enter. Nearby, we also found some excellent views over the town.
With snow now heavily falling, it was a very pretty sight (made even prettier
with the knowledge that we didn’t have to drive in it).
We decided, however, that it was too cold to continue on, so we headed back to the Raekoja Platz for a beer and crispy pig ears (very nice). I cooked pasta for dinner.
